Scar Croft is the home of Diane & Ian Mackridge. we have provided friendly bed and breakfast to guests since 1998 and pride ourselves in the personal service we provide.

We are situated in the picturesque village of Grassington in Upper Wharfedale, one of the Yorkshire Dales. The village has around 1000 inhabitants and was originally a lead mining settlement.
Grassington has a choice of excellent public houses and restaurants serving a variety of food. There are a number of shops including a post office and these along with the public houses are just a few minutes walk from Scar Croft. Further afield there is a great deal more to see and do(see the attractions page for more details).

Grassington is not only a beautiful dales village with many unique shops, but also provides an excellent base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, whether you choose to do this on foot, bicycle or by car, Grassington is the ideal location. The Dalesway walk from Ilkley to Windermere passes right by the end of the drive.

We have two rooms available to guests, One Double room on the ground

floor and One Twin room on the first floor.
Both rooms have ensuite shower rooms with WC, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, alarm clock and hairdriers.

Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms, however you may smoke in the guest lounge or outside.

The guest lounge is located on the first floor and is for the exclusive use of our residents with adjoining dining room where breakfast is served each morning.

There is ample private car parking.
